Make sure you log-on on your Windows station with administrator rights for your Novell server.
-
Insert the
Solution-Pac

or download PSP from MGE UPS SYSTEMS WEB
For CD-ROM installation only :
-
Open the file menu or task bar, select run and type:
<CD_DRIVE>:\STARTUP.EXE
.
-
At the Solution-Pac Navigator Screen, select "Installation" and "Personal Solution-Pac".
-
Then, select:"Personal Solution Pac for Novell".
-
Follow the instructions on the Installation Wizard screens.
-
When the Installation Wizard has finished, it will automatically launch
PSP-Console+
on the Windows station.
-
Test PSP
-
During the installation, the utility copies the files from the installation disk to sys:\upsman\psp. If this file already exists, the autoexec.ncf system startup file is saved as autoexec.bak. A command is added enabling the software to start automatically when the system boots.
The utility writes the
setup.log
log file in the UPSMAN directory.
